Our Mission Statement
Turning Point exists to break the cycles of poverty and homelessness by providing safe housing, holistic support, and pathways to stability. Through the Transition to Success® model, we partner with individuals to set goals, access resources, and build skills that restore dignity and hope. Together, with faith, community, and compassion, we empower people to move from surviving to thriving.
Our Vision Statement
We envision a community where poverty is no longer a generational inevitability but a temporary challenge that can be overcome. By integrating the Transition to Success® framework with Turning Point’s heart for service, we see families and individuals equipped with the tools, relationships, and opportunities they need to flourish—spiritually, emotionally, and economically. Our vision is to create a ripple effect of transformation, where lives are rebuilt, cycles are broken, and hope is multiplied throughout Steuben County and beyond.
